Sunset Cruise?

The Victoria-Seattle Ferry timed nicely with a sunset.
We had a great time spending quality time with family in Seattle; survived the bus system in Victoria (not bad unless you run out of cash like we did); enjoyed amazing hospitality from Friends; and only got caught in the rain once (it was midnight at the time--we had missed the earlier bus).

Sway

This swaying suspension bridge in North Vancouver is a thrill walk over a gorge through subtropical rain forest. Wow. Good choice, James and Carie.

British Columbia Family Trip

This Seattle-Victoria-Vancouver whirlwind trip involved planes, trains, automobiles, ferries, sea buses and city buses. Here we are aboard the Victoria-Vancouver ferry. It felt like a scaled-down Alaskan cruise. Wonderful!

Butchart Gardens

These are world famous for a reason. Impeccable. I'll be posting a handful of our photos from this place. If you're ever in Victoria, don't miss it.

High Tea, Victoria, BC

A fabulous experience! We enjoyed wonderful treats and tea at this proper and charming Scottish Tea House in Victoria. We had the Big Muckle Tea for Two. Any idea what Muckle means?
