It was the Rockefeller's summer cottage once upon time.

Harvest Hay Rides in NH

New York Public Library

It was Open House NY that weekend and so we caught special tours around the city. By the time we got to the library, the girls (Isabella pictured here) were challenged to use only their library voices.

Strolling the City

This was our first stroller experience in the city and I thought it worked out great. Jon had a conference in NJ, so I spent time with Brian & Kiasa.

The Biltmore Hotel

We spent a lovely week with Jon's parents in this historic hotel.

Providence Zoo

Baaa!

There is nothing like having kids to make you take advantage of every silly photo op!

Mackinac Island

We all went to Mackinac Island with Jonathan for his AIAA Conference. There is no motorized traffic allowed on the island, so everything is horse-drawn or on foot or bike. The movie Somewhere in Time was filmed almost completely at the resort we stayed at on the island.

Grey's Ledges

Covered Bridge

Our 4th of July plans were rained out, so we enjoyed our pizza picnic in the shelter of this bridge with Paige in scenic Woodstock, VT.

Tibetan Monks Visit Dartmouth

The art was amazing; they loved Sabrina.

Mandala Sand Art

We each gave it a shot. It inspired me to make really amazing sand castles next time we're at the beach. All I need is a mandala and dye...

Holding Hands

It's among the best feelings in the world.

First Harvest

We are very pleased with our little garden. It has been minimal work (it has rained right on schedule for us) and has yielded many fresh treats to our dinner table. This beautiful tomato was added to basil (also from garden) and fresh mozz for a nice caprese salad. Yum!
